What would it look like to go to a men’s retreat and truly be known by other men?
Let’s do this differently. Let’s speak to the heart.
Men are facing a battle of epic proportions in the church and in our culture.
We have led our lives, marriages, families, and businesses from our heads, striving to do more, to do better, to be more productive and efficient, and are not finding freedom and joy.
The stakes are high.
More and more Christian men are struggling with pornography, having affairs, alcohol, workaholism, mediocre marriages and struggling family relationships, never finding the freedom God intended us to have as men.
We were not designed to be one-dimensional men, full of Bible knowledge.
We were created to be loved and live out of our identity as a Beloved Son of the King. It requires getting into our hearts and having like-minded men around us to journey together and be known.
Identity is what drives men’s hearts.
Steve Cummings holds a Master’s of Divinity from Denver Seminary and is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor in the state of Georgia. He has led vibrant men’s groups for over 38 years in various places and stages of life to help men of all ages find their true selves.
His own story of brokenness has led him to help other men become equipped for kingdom living and help men unlock their true identity as God intended for men to live.
“Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
